The last day of the G7 takes place today in Carbis Bay, Cornwall. After yesterday’s stance against China by seven Western leaders, who condemned “forced labor” and Beijing’s treatment of the Uyghur minority, the Chinese reply came today. “The days when global decisions were dictated by a small group of countries are long over,” said a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in London, quoted by Reuters. “We believe that countries, large or small, strong or weak, poor or rich, are all equal, and that world affairs must be managed through consultation between countries.”
