Spalletti bets decisively on Flambruzzo’s goalkeeper, who will be the owner of the Neapolitans
UDINE. Alex Meret is ready to sign the renewal of his contract with Napoli. The extreme defender of Flambruzzo, who coach Roberto Mancini wanted as the third goalkeeper behind Donnarumma and Sirigu for the Euro 2020 shipment, will sign an agreement with De Laurentiis’ company in the coming days.
The new blue coach, Luciano Spalletti, has already expressed the will to bet decisively on Alex, who in the last two seasons has alternated with Ospina between the Neapolitan goalposts.
Meret’s contract expires in 2023: the extension should link the 24-year-old goalkeeper from Friuli to Napoli until 2025.
