The 2020/2021 season ends with a defeat the Canavese Ivrea, beaten by Verbania 3-1 away. An irrelevant defeat for the girls of coach Alessandro Vallero, who close the season with a fifth place in the group, already armored a week ago and mathematical salvation already obtained a few days ago. Against Verbania, coach Vallero sends Levrio on the field to dribble, Getto the opposite, the two bands are Boscarato and Lancieri, while in the center play captain Povolo and Marzia Vittonatti, with Gilardino free. In the second set, on the other hand, to condemn the Ivrea players there are some mistakes too many both in serving and in reception and Verbania takes advantage of it properly, also winning this set 25-18. The reaction of the Canavese Ivrea volley arrives only in the third set, thanks also to the change in the final of Marrocu for Boscarato in the band, but above all, on a technical level, of a better serve and reception: this time Verbania must raise the white flag 18-25 . Returning to the game, the Ivrea players lose the fourth fraction: Verbania starts in a rocket carrying 7-4, the Canavese Ivrea does not give up and makes up for it, impacting on 15-15, but then in the final they are unable to contain the attacks of the owners of home, which win 25-23. –
