(ANSA) – LIMA, 10 JUN – The National Office for Electoral Processes (Onpe) announced yesterday evening the end of the ballot of the votes cast in the presidential ballot of 6 June, with a definitive result that will be corrected by the decisions of the Court national electoral (JNE) which must examine the votes of 755 seats in which irregularities were found.

The candidate Pedro Castillo (Peru libre) was credited with 8,803,712 votes, equivalent to 50.19%, while the candidate Keiko Fujimori (Fuerza popular) collected 8,735,239 votes, representing 49.81%. The difference in terms of votes is 68,473.

Finally, another unresolved issue is the nullity appeals presented by Fuerza Popular and which concern 802 seats for about 200,000 votes, for which the JNE must decide what to do. (HANDLE).
