Prince William and his wife Kate celebrate ten years of marriage today and Kensington Palace has released two new images of the couple for the occasion. The photos, published late yesterday on official social media accounts, were taken this week by photographer Chris Floyd in their residence.
The first portrays the couple sitting side by side, with William looking at Kate, while the Duchess of Cambridge’s gaze is turned into the distance. In the second, the couple is portrayed in an embrace. In the photos, Kate is wearing a dress with floral motifs and the famous engagement ring, the same one that Prince Charles gave to William’s mother, Diana, when the couple announced their engagement in 1981. Prince William instead wears a blue shirt and sweater. and a pair of dark blue pants.
The couple married at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. Since then, William and Kate have had three children: George, Charlotte and Louis.
