TEL AVIV. Two Palestinian military intelligence agents and a third person, believed to be a member of Islamic Jihad, were killed in Jenin in the West Bank in a fire fight with Israeli operations forces. Both Palestinian and Israeli media report this. According to them, the conflict occurred when Israeli forces attempted to arrest 2 men suspected of being members of the Jihad outside the Palestinian intelligence headquarters in Jenin. The two agents – Adham Yasser Eleiwi and Tayseer Ayasa – noticed the action of Israeli forces operating aboard a civilian and intervened.
