The 14th National Games and Paralympic Games enter a hundred-day countdown_General Administration of Sports

On June 7, the 100-day countdown to the opening of the 14th National Games, the 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympics Games was held in Xi’an Olympic Sports Center, Shaanxi. Gou Zhongwen, Director of the General Administration of Sports and Party Secretary, Zhou Changkui, Chairman of the China Disabled Persons Federation, Liu Guozhong, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, and Zhao Yide, Governor of Shaanxi Province, attended the event and jointly announced the 14th National Games and Paralympic Games Torch, trophies, medals, award ceremony costumes.

At the event site, wonderful performances on the four themes of “Silk Road Chang’an”, “Green Waters and Green Mountains”, “National Games of the People” and “Walking Together” turned the history and modernity of Shaanxi into a picture of singing and dancing. More than 3,000 people from the security, event service, city service, medical security, volunteer service and other phalanx of the 14th National Games shouted “We are ready!”

“All the people and the National Games go together”, “Light up the dream and set sail for love”, “Meet in Xi’an to build a dream for the National Games”… The shining light show and the scrolling words on the large LED screen on the facade of the National Games venue make Xi’an here. This old and young city has become the most splendid scenery in the night as it counts down to 100 days. The dazzling light and water show attracted many citizens and tourists. Everyone stopped to watch and take photos, keeping this unforgettable and wonderful scene in memory.

The start of the 100-day countdown to the 14th National Games and the Paralympic Games marked the beginning of the sprint stage of the preparations for the Games. It is reported that the 14th National Games of the People’s Republic of China will open in Shaanxi on September 15 and will be held from September 15 to September 27. The 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympics Games will open on October 22 and will be held from October 22 to October 29.
