The Italy of foil, chosen by the coach Andrea Cipressa, will also start in Tokyo with the favors of the prediction, and obviously with the aim of the medals. In the men’s foil the individual test will see the Rio 2016 Olympic champion, Daniele Garozzo, on the platform, together with Alessio Foconi and the veteran Andrea Cassarà. Giorgio Avola will be with them in the team event. The women’s foil Italy, on the other hand, will focus on Alice Volpi, Arianna Errigo and Martina Batini in the individual, while Erica Cipressa will step on the platform in the team test. The competitions will take place in Hall B of the Makuhari Messe from 24 July.
