Scent of blue jersey for two talents of Ventimiglia Handball. Alessio D’Attis and Alessandro Benini, in fact, have been called up for the internship in Bormes les Mimosas which from next Monday, June 14th. will see the Italian National Beach Handball at work. The rally is one of the first commitments in preparation for the European Championships scheduled for mid-July in Bulgaria.
For D’Attis, now a veteran of the discipline, this is the umpteenth call-up to the senior national team, of which he has become a staple for coach Vincenzo Malatino, a true authority on the matter. For the young Benini it is instead the first experience among Seniors, after his numerous appearances in the youth national team, which was vice-champion of the world in 2017.
The boys will be busy for several weeks and hopefully they can be included among those who will defend the blue jersey at the European Championships.
