IVREA. There are five summer camps, for children aged 3 to 14, with which the Municipality has signed an agreement for the period from 14 June to 10 September. To meet the needs of families, with an ISEE of less than 30,000 euros (or even higher, in the case of minors with disabilities), the administration has allocated an amount equal to 30 thousand euros to supplement the daily rates provided by the summer camps. These are realities that operate not only in the city but also in the first Ivrea area and in Valchiusella: Villa Girelli, managed by the social cooperative Alce Rosso, in strada Bidasio in Ivrea (0125 49184); Cr-esco summer center managed by the Agape di Burolo coop, with offices in Ivrea, Opera Pia Moreno, and Chiaverano (329 8553416); The world of Camelot in via Circonvallazione in Banchette (0125 1865910 – 1865912); the center run by Culla dei Dreams in via Dora Baltea, with offices in Ivrea and Issiglio (347 3085421); The lair of the urchins of Scarmagno, La Playa company (348 0738615).
The maximum contribution recognized by the Municipality for families is differentiated on the basis of the ISEE. Range from 0 to 10 thousand euros, contribution of 100 euros per week (for children aged 3 to 6); 80 euros (7-14 years). Range from 10 thousand to 20 thousand euros, 90 euros (3-6 years), 70 euros (7-14 years). Range from 20 thousand to 30 thousand euros, 70 euros (3-6 years), 50 euros (7-14 years). Another issue, however, for children with certified disabilities. Isee range from 0 to 10 thousand euros, contributed by 490 euros per week (regardless of age); range from 10 thousand to 20 thousand, 480 euros; range from 20 thousand to 30 thousand, 460 euros; over 30 thousand euros the contribution is 400 euros.
There are two substantial changes compared to last year: the share of the municipal contribution will be paid directly each month to the structure which therefore will not have to ask the family for an advance; the wide range of facilities also outside the city center. “This – explains the councilor for education systems Giorgia Povolo – to meet the needs of those parents who work outside Ivrea or live in the suburbs”.
