Race against time for entry to the agenda of the Valley Council this week

AOSTA. The approval of the bill on aid to the Valle d’Aosta economy in difficulty due to the consequences of the health emergency is skipped. In this morning’s session, the Aosta Valley government should have launched the expected package of measures worth 80 million euros, but this was not the case.

The draft of the provision is ready from mid-May. The final version is expected in the Regional Council for the final ok this week, in the session convened on Wednesday and Thursday. According to what was declared by the president of the region, Erik Lavevaz, the bill will be approved in the council “probably on Wednesday”.

However, before it can be entered on the agenda of the Aosta Valley assembly, possibly even in an emergency, the text must pass to the examination of the competent council commissions and be discussed by the Permanent Council of local authorities. To stay on time, the Commissions and the CPEL will have to meet on the same Wednesday or Thursday morning at the latest. Only then can the support measures be included on the agenda of the Regional Council for approval. Otherwise, everything will be postponed to the next meeting scheduled for June 23 and 24.
