The prosecutor had asked for 16 months for alleged lobbying to cancel a traffic fine
AOSTA. Accused of abusing her post to obtain the cancellation of a traffic fine, the former municipal secretary of Châtillon and Saint-Vincent Donatella d’Anna was acquitted by the court of Aosta.
D’Anna, according to the accusation, would have ordered the commander of the local police to cancel a fine for prohibition of parking, otherwise threatening to initiate a disciplinary measure against him. The fact dates back to 2019.
The prosecutor had asked for a year and four months of sentence but the judge, at the end of the shortened procedure, decided the acquittal from the crime of attempted extortion.
