One million Pfizer doses by Wednesday. The government is accelerating on the vaccine plan and, as announced by the emergency commissioner General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, “within the next 24 hours about one million doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be distributed to the Regions, affecting 214 health facilities”. The communication comes at the end of the working meeting with the Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, together with the head of Civil Protection, Fabrizio Curcio. At the center of the meeting, according to what is learned, the themes of procurement and the management of the vaccination campaign in the Regions. Draghi also had a meeting in the afternoon with the Minister of Regional Affairs, Mariastella Gelmini, and a preliminary point was made on the solutions that will contribute to strengthening collaboration and coordination with the Regions committed to promptly implementing the new vaccination plan.
