CONEGLIANO. The city greets his historical envelope maker and merchant Marisa Costalonga, he was 82 years old. It was back in 1961 when Costalonga opened the shop “Underwear Marisa Corsetteria”. The competence and the relationship of trust with customers have always distinguished it since then, in a family tradition that has continued for sixty years now.

“Even when she retired, Mom used to come to the shop,” she says with emotion the daughter Roberta De Vido, which continued in the management of the business. Marisa Costalonga was originally from Sarmede.

As a child she had lived in France where the family emigrated. Back in the city, she was in her early twenties when she started her own shop, in via Sauro, near the intersection with viale Istria, becoming a point of reference for many Coneglianesi.

For some years she had been suffering from a degenerative disease, she was cared for with affection by her family. She leaves her husband Eugenio, the children Roberta and Giorgio, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and niece Valeria.

The funeral was celebrated on the afternoon of 10 June in the parish church of San Martino.
