June 12 is the fifth cultural and natural heritage day in my country. The eighth batch of Quanzhou-level representative inheritors of intangible heritage and the fifth batch of provincial non-genetic inheritors were announced and awarded at the event. At the event site, Quanzhou Library presented books “Quanzhou Cultural Relics National Protection” and “Proceedings of Quanzhou City Archaeology Symposium” to the cultural and tourism bureaus of various counties (cities, districts) in Quanzhou and the cultural and tourism bureaus of Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone.
According to reports, “Quanzhou Cultural Relics National Protection Chapter” was carefully compiled by three generations of cultural relics workers in Quanzhou for more than a year. The book has a total of 100,000 words and more than 400 color photos. The book includes 44 “national protection” units in Quanzhou. Both pictures and texts. The “Proceedings of Quanzhou City Archaeology Symposium” contains 32 papers from scholars participating in the “Quanzhou City Archaeology Symposium”, including the archaeological excavation research of Quanzhou City ruins and the research of pottery unearthed from Quanzhou City ruins.
