I’m 1.896 i new cases positive to coronavirus ascertained in the last 24 hours in Italy, the result of 220.917 molecular and antigenic buffers. A slight increase compared to yesterday’s 1,273 cases, but a further improvement compared to 2483 contagion daily recorded last Tuesday. The consequence is a rate of positivity which falls for the first time in months below the 1% threshold: today is at 0.8 percent, down 0.7 percentage points from Monday. I am instead 102 the dead Covid communicated by the Ministry of Health, a slight increase compared to Monday and also compared to a week ago, when the deaths were 93.
I’m 688 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, with a touts at 71 from Monday in the daily balance between income and expenses. The daily admissions, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 17: yesterday there were 25, last Tuesday they were still more than double (41). THE hospitalized in ordinary wards are 4.685, down by 225 units compared to Monday (when the drop was 283). A week ago the hospitalized in the medical area were 6.192. There are 176,353 people in home isolation. In total, therefore, the currently positives – people who have the virus – drop by 6,727 and are today 181.726.
In total since the beginning of the pandemic they are therefore 4.235.592 the infections recorded in Italy, while the deaths rise to 126.690 from February 2020. People healed / discharged they are altogether 3.927.176: today’s bulletin matters 8.519 new healed or discharged.
Today the Region that has the most infections is the Sicily, which communicates 337 new cases (yesterday they were 156). In Lombardy the positives are 291, followed by the Campania with 251. Above 100 cases still remain the Lazio (139), the Puglia (134) and Veneto (130). In Emilia Romagna there are 99 daily infections, 96 in Piedmont, 90 in Tuscany and 61 in Calabria.
In a pandemic map of Italy now yellow (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Lombardy, Marche, Piedmont, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, the autonomous province of Trento, Puglia, Sicily, Tuscany, Valle d’Aosta) which is turning more and more towards the White (Abruzzo, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Molise, Sardinia, Umbria, Veneto), right in Sicily there are still 4 Common who fight with mini lockdown: Santa Stefano di Quisquina (in the province of Agrigento), Geraci Siculo and Prizzi (in the Palermo area), Scordia (in the province of Catania). The expiry of the restrictive measures is currently scheduled for midnight on 10 June. Also in Sardinia is in the red zone Aritzo (Nuoro), until June 15th. In Campania, in the Salerno area, the municipality of Laurino (1,500 inhabitants) is in the red zone until 11 June.
