With respect to the number of services provided, it is noted that the ratio between the volumes of specialist visits delivered in intramoenia and the volumes of services provided under the institutional regime records, at national level, values between 4% (physiatric visit, oncological visit) and 29 % (gynecological examination), while for instrumental services, imaging diagnostics and other specialist examinations, this ratio varies between 1% (CT scan, holter dynamic electrocardiogram, fundus photography) and 44% (gynecological ultrasound).
The cardiological examination (561.097) is confirmed to be the most provided service in intramoenia, followed by the gynecological examination (501.267) and the orthopedic one (458.245). The eye examination (4,567,742) is the most provided service in institutional activity, followed by the electrocardiogram (4,386,680), the orthopedic examination (3,764,000), the cardiological examination (3,469,245) and the dermatological examination (3,255 .789).
Compared to the type of booking at national level, it is noted that most bookings are made through the Cup system (90% in 2018 and 91% in 2019): 12 autonomous regions / provinces (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardia, Marche, PA of Bolzano, PA of Trento, Puglia, Tuscany, Umbria, Valle D’Aosta and Veneto) almost exclusively use this type of agenda. And 6 Regions (Calabria, Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Sardinia and Sicily) use it for over 80% of bookings.
