In 2006, the White House was attacked by hackers, and traces of illegal access were found in top-secret documents under the jurisdiction of the President. American agents Lyon S. Kennedy and others, who were called to investigate this incident, encountered zombies of unknown origin in the White House where the power was suddenly cut off, and together with SWAT, they subdued them.
On the other hand, when Claire Redfield, a member of TerraSave, was helping refugees, he found a wonderful painting of a teenager with aphasia. Claire used the painting believed to be a virus-infected person as an opportunity to investigate alone.
The next morning, Claire, who came to the White House to petition for the construction of welfare facilities, unexpectedly reunited with Lyon and showed him a picture of a boy. Leon was aware of the connection between the zombie incident in the White House and the strange painting, but he said it had nothing to do with Claire and left. The two zombie incidents that occurred in faraway countries eventually developed into crises that shook the country.
