ROMA – Finally in attendance. On July 1st, Ferrari, Maserati, Ducati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara, Energica will make an appointment in the “Land of Motors”: Motor Valley Fest 2021, the widespread show in Modena, a Unesco city – opens to automotive enthusiasts (and not only) the fun fair: this year all Made in Italy will respond to the appeal, from motorsport to food and wine, to restart Italy at 360 degrees. Digital conferences, round tables, exhibitions, talent shows, competitions and dynamic tests are planned. Among the novelties, in fact, there is also an Aci Sport certified temporary city circuit called “Arena Motor Valley” (Novi Sad Park): a tribute to the historic Area 48 of the Bologna Motor Show. Furthermore, for the first time, the four regional racetracks have been opened for the occasion. The lights come back on and the engines start roaring again. The only mission: the enhancement of the territory.

An agreement to enhance the Made In Italy

The Motor Valley Fest is part of the agreement for the enhancement of Made in Italy, signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency with the Emilia-Romagna Region and Apt Servizi Emilia-Romagna for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies: it was launched on the occasion of the Formula 1 GP of Imola and will continue with the Misano Superbike (from 11 to 13 June), before seeing many curious protagonists at the Motor Valley Fest.

“The aim is to enhance the image and competitiveness of Italian products and technologies as part of a series of events of the highest international appeal, which represent real” platforms “for the promotion of Made in Italy. – comments Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio – In this way, we intend to develop a communication campaign that aims at a real “nation branding” able to attract resources and investments, to support Italian exports and to expand and diversify the foreign reference markets for our SMEs “.

Training for young people and professionals

The widespread show, after the previous digital edition, therefore, now aims to tell the excellence of companies and brands born in Emilia Romagna with a program of activities to discover the Italian automotive tradition but also innovations.

The “Motorsport Next – Industry Innovation And Technology Transfer Global Forum”, created by ANFIA-Motorsport and Autopromotec (the international exhibition of automotive equipment and aftermarket), starts already online, to facilitate the meeting between Italian companies linked to motorsport and protagonists of the most technologically related sectors. Meetings that want to be opportunities for comparison between professionals but also for knowledge for the youngest who intend to enter this sector.

As in previous editions, the “Innovation & Talents” format is back, dedicated to talents who will have the opportunity to be selected and networked, by contacting the car companies directly. From Thursday 1 July to Friday 2 July on the Motor Valley Fest youtube channel, an online roundup of videos with the ‘pitch’ of the Italian and foreign proposals.

Moto Valley Fest: accelerator for start-ups

Obviously, the event also wants to act as an “accelerator” for Italian minds: on July 2, the 10 companies selected by Plug and Play will be presented, ready to challenge each other to enter the Motor Valley Accelerator, a start-up program based in Modena, born from a CDP Venture Capital initiative with the support of CRIT, a Modenese technology broker.

Adrenaline to gogo

Unmissable for fun, the most adrenaline-pumping motorsport. In the spotlight the GT World Challenge Europe (2,3,4 July) in Misano Adriatico and the CIV, Motorcycle Speed ​​Championship (2,3,4 July) at the Imola Circuit. A meeting dedicated to Dallara cars and Youngtimers, on the other hand, will await visitors in Varano de Melegari on 2 and 3 July. Among the novelties, this year, as mentioned, the Motor Valley Arena, which will see the participation of all the brands with dynamic activities and performances on the track, while the Modena racetrack will be a real “Mobility Village”: all to be discovered.

Motorsport events

Among the appointments, not to be forgotten, the “Cavallino Classic” (from 2 to 4 July 2021), that is the contest of elegance of the United States dedicated to the supercars of the Prancing Horse – for the first time overseas -, as well as a new edition of the Concours d’elégance Salvarola Terme Trophy (3 and 4 July – Salvarola Terme, Sassuolo and Modena) for models produced up to 1975 and belonging to any Italian or foreign brand.

In the city they will be ideal stages for food and wine. finally, Piazza Roma, Piazza Grande, Piazza Mazzini, Piazza Matteotti, Largo Sant’Agostino, Ducal Gardens, Piazza XX Settembre, Piazza Bologna, Largo San Francesco.
