Finally: welcome back Cannes Film Festival! Today the curtain has risen on the program, and what a program, of the 74th edition of the French festival, which will be held from 6 to 17 July.
The edition is highly anticipated, not only because last year the festival was not able to take place due to the pandemic, but also for a program that promised to be very rich.
The opening will be the already announced “Annette” by Leos Carax, the French director who returns to the Croisette nine years after the splendid “Holy Motors”: the new work by the transalpine author is a musical starring Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard and is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of the year. It should be noted that among the guests of the opening night there will also be Jodie Foster, this year’s honorary Palme d’Or for her great career.
