On August 7, 2020, the China Securities Regulatory Commission officially released the “Public Offering InfrastructureStock investmentfundGuidelines (Trial). The National Development and Reform Commission also issued a notice recently, explaining the relevant points of the application for the pilot project of infrastructure REITs. The steady progress of the pilot work of publicly offered REITs has aroused widespread attention from the market and investors, and the first batch of publicly offered REITS has been publicly sold on May 31, 2021.
As mature financial products in developed overseas markets, what are the functions and characteristics of REITs? In China, what is the difference between public REITs that invest in the field of infrastructure and ordinary public funds that we are familiar with? In order to help investors understand relevant knowledge, understand investment risks, guide investors to establish correct investment concepts, and avoid blindly following the trend, and also to actively promote the first national securities and futures knowledge contest with the theme of investor rights and interests.shareholder“Here is Coming” campaign to promote the China Investor Network. On June 11, 2021, the Securities Business Department of Wuhan Xiongchu Avenue organized a special investor education activity to approach public REITS and embrace the new blue ocean as “Shareholders Coming”.
This investor education activity was carried out by our lecturer Tan Jia through the live broadcast of Drifter. The main content of the presentation consists of two parts. One is to approach public REITS and introduce what is and what are the characteristics of public REITS. It is familiar to us. What are the differences in investment products, what are the trading rules, and collected some common investor questions to answer one by one; the other part is to promote the “Shareholders Coming” knowledge contest and the investor education website.
Through the live broadcast, we will introduce to investors what public REITS is, where is the value of our investment, and where are the risks, so that investors can invest clearly, enhance investors’ awareness of risk prevention, and establish a good Investment concept.
The cumulative number of participants in this investment education activity was 218. After nearly an hour of live broadcast, the investor friends responded well to the activity and the activity was a complete success.
