It is now possible for Italian investors to compose their own personalized savings plan directly from their smartphone, also using unlisted financial products connected to the financing of Italian SMEs, such as minibonds, crowdfunding and club deals. The proposal of the Do-it-yourself PIR comes from FinancialDelivery, digital platform of financial services. The tailor-made plan allows you to benefit from the tax concessions provided for the PIRs.
With PIR Do-it-yourself you can then compose your own personalized portfolio by choosing any financial product you want to buy, obviously within the limits set by the legislation on Ordinary PIRs and “alternative” PIRs, favoring the purchase of unlisted financial products connected to the financing of the real economy and in Italian SMEs, such as minibonds, crowdfunding and club deals.

The Do-it-yourself PIR is carried out through the subsidiary FD Fiduciaria Digitale, which acts in its own name exclusively according to the customer’s instructions, thus facilitating any type of operation. The customer can give their orders in videocall or through the digital platform, and sign them from their smartphone, in a simple and safe way. FinancialDelivery is completely independent, has no own products to offer and does not offer any kind of advice. The customer has the freedom to compose his savings plan independently, or with his own consultants, also choosing “alternative” products: the trust company is responsible for checking that the portfolio complies with the requirements of the PIR regulations, and then will act as withholding agent.
The digital platform underlines how the Do-it-yourself PIR is a possibility for all those subjects who offer unlisted products that are not normally offered by the main intermediaries and therefore remain excluded from the PIR, despite having all the requirements. This is the case of the crowdfunding, a category that not surprisingly includes some of the companies that have entered into partnerships with FinancialDelivery in recent months. But FinancialDelivery also constitutes an opportunity for other subjects whose products do not fall within the requirements of the PIR, including those of foreign managers, who – perhaps even taking advantage of 30% of “free” investments of the PIR – can make their products available to Italian investors who want to buy them. Among the most recent partnerships there is for example Recrowd, a crowdfunding platform that allows you to invest in real estate projects: for specific future transactions in the luxury real estate segment, from September it will also be possible to exploit the benefits of the Do-it-yourself PIR. Then there is the lending crowdfunding of The Social Lender, thanks to which investment opportunities can be seized in the residential construction sector, taking advantage of the 110% Superbonus, and in local utility companies. Investors interested in cryptocurrencies turn to 3iQ, the world‘s leading Asset Management company precisely in listed passive funds that replicate Bitcoin and Ethereum.
“Our Do-it-yourself PIR is perfectly in line with the declared objective of the PIRs, which is to channel the savings resources of Italians towards the real economy of our country, in particular SMEs, which produce wealth, which returns both to the investor and to the country system “- he declares Luca Stellato, Business Development Manager of FinancialDelivery – “In addition to this, this service is faithful to our vision of a different way to invest, which leaves the investor maximum freedom of choice, but he must be informed and aware: this is why we have created YouFinancialEducation , an online channel of financial (in) training videos ”.
