While waiting for the vaccines to arrive, companies are actually equipping themselves with partnerships and spaces in order to guarantee vaccination to the greatest number of workers, but also citizens. So yesterday Luxottica, Ulss Dolomiti and the Municipality of Sedico jointly announced the path to activate a new Vaccinal Center in the Palaskating of Sedico, which will be open to the entire population of Ulss Dolomiti, thus adding to the 5 drive in already present at the ‘hospital of Belluno, Alpago Paludi, Feltre, Agordo and Tai. The goal is to give 250 vaccinations per day to residents. Reservations are already active starting from the age group 60-69, while the activity will start next Monday. The team active at Palaskating will consist of two health workers from the health care company and 11 health workers and technicians made available free of charge by Luxottica.
Meanwhile, from the collaboration between Campari and the MultiMedica group, the MultiMedica Marelli corporate vaccination center was born, in Sesto San Giovanni, just outside Milan (in the photo). The launch of the immunization campaign is expected as soon as the Lombardy Region will make the vaccines to be administered to the staff available to the member companies. The space is at the service of a wide-ranging socio-health and economic project and represents a concrete opportunity to guarantee vaccination to the largest possible number of workers in Lombard companies, in the shortest possible time, according to a note. In practice, thanks to the partnership between Campari and Multimedica, the large spaces of a disused building in the historic headquarters of Ercole Marelli, in Sesto San Giovanni, have been converted and adapted, creating an Extraordinary Territorial Vaccinal Center which will have an area of about 2 thousand square meters, 10 vaccine lines and will be able to guarantee up to 200 vaccine administrations per hour, for a total of 2 thousand per day for Lombard workers.
