According to the details of the court announcement, the parties involved in the case were Beijing Weibo Vision Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Tencent Computer System Co., Ltd., Tencent Digital (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Toutiao Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Byte Beat Technology Co., Ltd.

In response, the relevant person in charge of Douyin responded: We only learned from the news that the court was going to be held on the 24th of this month. Three days ago (June 15) received the materials from the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court, and the subpoena indicated that the court was held on July 22. If the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court changes to the court session on June 24, it does not meet the relevant legal requirements that give the defendant a 15-day defense and proof period at least. This has had some impact on our response to the lawsuit, and we are already working overtime to prepare materials. In addition, we will also actively communicate with the Shenzhen court and try our best to cooperate with the court’s request.
