Joining us today are two sports experts who break down the winners and losers from Week 1. We’re going to go from the massive contract of Dak Prescott and his solid performance all the way to the rise of Jordan Mason. But for now, let’s take a further look at Prescott’s day. On the back of his new $240 million extension, he led the Cowboys to a convincing 33-17 win over the Browns. Some say this may be a turning point for him. What do you think, Chris?

“Thanks, Alex! Prescott’s performance was definitely noteworthy, especially with the pressure that comes from such a big contract. But let’s not overreact-it’s just one game. What impressed me more was Jordan Mason’s performance, who stepped up in Christian McCaffrey’s absence. Mason’s 147-yard game showed the depth in talent within the NFL. He took full advantage of his opportunity, and that is what makes this league exciting.”

“It’s tenuous at best for Cleveland, Alex-between the lousy performance and the off-field distractions, they have an awful lot to overcome. Now taking care of that vulnerable offensive line and adding some heft to the ‘D’-this has to be a priority if they are seriously to have any sort of rebound this season.”
